Civitai is where most community checkpoints and LoRAs are published. It also generates on-site: images across many architectures, LoRA training, and, as of mid-2026, several third-party video engines. Buzz is the currency; Blue Buzz is earned free and Yellow Buzz is bought, since 2025 only with cryptocurrency.
Membership is Bronze at $10 a month for 10,000 Buzz, Silver at $25 for 25,000 and Gold at $50 for 50,000, with bonuses on purchases. Adult content is opt-in for 18+ accounts. In April 2025 Civitai banned several content categories and now requires metadata on all NSFW uploads.

Bunimation: NSFW images, video and comics are allowed on every plan within the Safety Guidelines, which prohibit illegal content.
Civitai: Adult content is opt-in for verified adults. Since April 2025 several categories are banned and all NSFW uploads need metadata; rules change often.
